See, now you've gone and taught ME something new. I'd not heard this song before. Haunting, isn't it? Yours is the second blog I've visited this morning doing an F-post for "Friend". And both made me cry.
This is not a favourite track of mine. I prefer their Don't Leave me This Way. My favourite friend track is Carole King's You've Got a Friend sung by James Taylor. And there's also the Dionne Warwick charity record for AIDS sufferers That's What Friends Are For. Have a great Easter weekend.
saxophone is really my favorite instrument (that's why i play it!) what a sad song! sweet, but sad! here's my favorite friend song (it's a bit different than this): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XVoCJJFuS60
Cool. Looked around! Read The Giver and The Book Thief and check out shelfari.com! It's your very own bookshelf and you can put it right on your blog :)
Thanks for sharing Sarah--I had not heard/seen this one before. Which is no surprise since my knowledge of entertainment right now is limited to Disney stuff.
Very mellow somehow, happy Easter my dear!

ReplyDeleteHe has a rather marmite voice - you tend to love him or hate him :-)
DeleteYay, something new for me to download and listen too while I'm futzing around in the kitchen!
ReplyDeleteI hope you like it - and why does blogger keep treating you like a spammer? :-(
DeleteI don't like his voice either.
